HOOYAH! Laura and I live 45 minutes from Karma Choling. We just came home from having dinner and spending the evening with several long-time students of Rig'dzin Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche's. They talked of "the early years", sharing stories of being with Trungpa Rinpoche and experiencing transmission. They assured us, as if we had any doubts, of the wonderful opportunity we have within the Aro Ter, practicing in a relatively small Sangha with so many wonderful teachers to help us along the path. They spoke of reading Rig'dzin Dorje's book "Dangerous Friend", finding it both wondeful and their first introduction to our Lineage! There were many questions about our view and our practice. There was happy suprise to hear that we were expected to study and understand the view of out lineage as well as practice it. One person said that it was only relativley recently that she began to read and understand the view of her lineage. When she met Trungpa Rinpoche she was only interested in practicing.Well, enough gossip from Vermont. Hooyah! We are blessed and lucky. Much love to you all.
