Subject: Useful online advertising.

This is a useful way of putting together some programs for marketing online, if you want to just have a simple "no frills" website designed to display a variety of different programs to sell. I came across it on one of the traffic exchanges that I use, and it struck me by the simplicity of it's design and the basic utility of the programs listed. It was a refreshing change from some of the more flashy websites that you see. There was none of those annoying tricks that you often get, where pop ups stop you if you want to click away, and you get requests from "Supposed Live" agents who want to offer you a great discount. If website designers knew how annoying these tricks can be they would surely stop using them. They are counterproductive as well. I will never buy off a site that is trying to browbeat me.

But this particular online advertising website is refreshingly different. It just gives a simple introduction to the programs it is selling, with a link to another website where there are more programs for the customer to choose from. There are some banners near the bottom of the page that invite you to look at some more.

It,s the kind of website that I like to buy from, because you know that the webmaster is not trying to treat you as if you are some sort of fool, and there are no cheap tricks designed to pressure you into hasty buying decisions.

If you would like to have a look at it, to give you a better idea of what I am talking about here is the link

The guy obviously knows what he is doing, as I bought a few of his programs. They worked quite well for me, incidentally. I just wish this "No Pushy" type of internet advertising would catch on.
