Subject: Why Your Howard Dean's Chances Of Being President..

is like spitting from an aircarft 50,000 feet up into a thimble below with a chance of winning 50 million dollars.

I notice that your governor has taken a position against the war or the proposed war with Iraq. He seems to mirror his position along with the irrational "reverand' Al Sharpton concerning the war. This reminds me of any politician or politico liken to a small state that has no chance being nominated much less elected to the presidency. I seem to remember others that took far out positions whether left or right that were denied the nomination or were defeated in landslides even if they attained the nomination of their party.
One of these was presidential candiate, George F. McGovern of South Dakota. Not only did McGovern loose the presidential election to Richard M. Nixon, he lost in a massive landslide. He lost his homestate of South Dakota along with 48 other states with the exception of ultra liberal Massascuttes with its 14 electorial votes. He lost in a electorial landslide of 521 electorial votes to Nixon to McGovern's 17 electorial votes. Again he carried only Massaschuttes and Washington D.C. for the 17 electorial votes. Dean will stand that same chance as McGovern did. McGovern lost his homestate of South Dakota like Albert Gore lost his homestate of Tennessee in 2000. McGovern of course didn't even "invent" the internet like Gore claimed he did, however.
