Subject: Republican candidate for Senate 2004

Lots of talk about Jack McMullen. But the party nomination is far from guaranteed. There are quite a few other Repubs in the state, who have been laying the ground work for a go at one of the US Senate seats for far longer.

I'm obviously not a GOP insider, so I might be mistaken here, but there is chatter that both Skip Valley and Walter Freed want it ... I'll bet that there are a few more .... Perhaps Sen. Bloomer of Rutland?
