I agree with you that the Dems and Progs wont make the same mistake this year. That was really dumb the two parties made.

Anyways, I got to disagree with you on Bernie. He has been taken a really active role in whats going on in the state. He has rarely done this. He has always been out of the state (which is good for me, cause I don't want him here). He'll run. When he endorsed people for the Fletcher Allen Board, I knew he was in. And the criticizing and so on.

He will be in. And if Shumlin knows that's good for his political career, he will opt for Lt. Governor instead.

About Clavelle....he is one of the only Prog's I know that actually cares about unity within the Dems and the Progs. He won't let what happened in 2002 Lt. Governors Race, happen in the Governors race. There is just too much at stake, and Clavelle knows that. He acts more like a Democrat then a Progressive in my opinion. Well he was a Dem.
