Well....There are NOT a lot of R's on this site, I do admit. But I think that Douglas is doing a good job..so far. You will have a Republican Governor for another term...maybe. But Dubie will be gone, and the rest of our great State-wide delegation will remain the way it is. Now the Senate....I couldn't stop laughing because the R's got their butt's kicked in this affair. They saw all the Ruth Dwyer like Republicans in there, and knew they couldn't do anything. We got a lot of freshmen like Clair Ayer and that other guy in Addison County, we got two new senators in Windham County, and a couple others that I can't remember.

Still, Republicans barely maintain control over the House, and they have nothing in the Senate.

Your resurgence in 2004 will fall. The Republicans will not be able to take on Leahy, and the Senate Democrats have too much of a wide majority. The Lt. Governorship will become Democratic again because Dubie is so naive and can't do anything, and also because he got the same amount of votes he did in 2000, he won't get re-elected in 2004. Prog's and Dem's won't let that happen again.

I hope to god we can put aside Progressive and Democratic differences and unite to take down the Conservatives in the state and emplace them with moderates.
