Encouraging renewable energy sources should be at the top of our government's agenda.

Large hydro projects are not all that clean (look at HydroQuebec), but more should be done with wind power.

I think that Jim Leddy is a big advocate of this in the Senate.

Also I think that local governments could do more ... think about windmills in industrial parks ... small, geographically connected buisnesses forming power associations in cooperation with municipalities ... there is a lot of work that can be done in this area.
