Subject: And Further L. Perkins (Documented Fact) Carl T Rowan

There was a political featured columnist many years ago by the name of Carl T. Rowan. He too was anti-gun and very much a liberal who was against gun owners and the Right To Bear Arms. One night an intruder came into his home (home invasion) with the express determination to rob, murder Rowan. Mr. Rowan with full determination opened his desk drawer up and pulled out a gun, shot and killed the intruder without hesitation.
Was Rowan a hypocrite for having this gun? Yes! Did he have a right to defend himself knowing that any law enforcement assistance was of no use in his behalf? Yes. Once again I example a person who was hostile to the Right To Bear Arms through his writings, but when push came to shove he sucessfully defended himself. Mr. Rowan's column appeared in the Chicago Tribune, The San Fransico Examiner and the old Los Angeles Herald Examiner.
In Carl T Rowan's thinking during that split second of critical action, it is better to have an alive Carl T. Rowan then that of one that assumed room temperature after the police would arrive well to late to do any good.
