went down to a landslide defeat in the Maryland governorship race because she tried to use the sniper case against a pro-gun Republican. This miserable effort on her part as an anti-gun liberal resulted in a landslide defeat of her. Maryland has a finger printing law concerning high powered rifles and guns. The trouble with this law, a simple metal file can change the finger printing markings within the barrel of a gun. Time itself will change the finfer printing markings within the barrel of a gun. Everyday usage of a gun will eventually change the structure within a gun/high powered rifle.
Liberals like Townsend are most ignorant of these facts and know nothing concerning the metal structure within a gun. Still Townsend wanted more laws passed. She went down to a landslide defeat in her efforts. Still the Beltway Sniper was not stopped because of these laws on the book.
