Vermont is not the only place in the world, Susi. You are one of fifty states and you can not apply your select "pollyanna" world to all others. Once again I exampled where a gun saved a life (Carl T. Rowan). You choose to ignore this example for some strange reason. I exampled the Outback of Australia where the average homesteader is now under increased attacks, you choose to ignore this factor. I cited England will criminals attacking average citizens, retired "bobbies" (police) and active "bobbies" (police); you choose to ignore this issue.
I am willing to bet no one will enter my premises or anyone's premises if they know you are armed with self protection of your own. Police and law authorities will not be there at your calling at times, Susi.
I cited the Great Basin area of Nevada that has no relationship to your Vermont as far as wide distance is concern. Law enforcement is at a distance, so those homesteaders, retirees and ranchers are far off from law enforcement. Self, individual protection is their recourse. Liberal gun-controllers hate this factor, Susi.
Nothing has happened in my life to make me feel insecure. I am happy as a lark to be a gun owner and I will continue to act within this manner concerning this issue.
Still you ignore this issue and examples I have cited. I wonder why, Susi?
