I agree with you on this one. I was so sick over the split between the Liberals and the Moderate/Conservatives of the Dems. I know I am going to piss people off here with what I am going to say, but the Progressives really do suck votes away from Democrats. We really the need the IRV. Southern Vermont is backing it, but Douglas won't. Cause he can't get elected with more then 50% of the vote. Neither can Dubie. There is this interesting article in "Sound Off" that I thought had some good points. "The Race for Lt. Governor" go read it, it brings some interesting facts to IRV, Dubie's numbers and the Pollina "factors."

I like the 50% rule, but I think we need IRV.
