like myself who is not a complete conservative on every issue. Remeber there is many conservatives that do not believe in an complete open border internationally. The Teamsters Union at the time tried to argue against certain trucks and trucking firms that would haul their goods from Mexico points of shipping into the United States.
If American trucking firms must adhere by safety standards like proper maintance of these trucks and semis, then the Mexican firms must be heald by the same standards. This would include proper licensing of the drivers, strict safety standards on these foreign trucks and up to date varified insurance to be carried by these firms, south of the border. This would include a background check of the drivers of these trucks to see if they are fit to drive these vehicles.
