While I am primarily concerned about the encroachment on civil liberties, I am also wondering why it is that the administration feels that it is acceptable to employ John Poindexter.

This is a former Reagan administration official who was CONVICTED in the wake of the Iran-contra scandal of FIVE FELONY COUNTS of lying to Congress, destroying official documents and obstructing the congressional inquiry into the affair. Surely this should make him ineligible for government employment of any kind.
