I don't know much about Sen. Leddy. The only people I know about from Chittenden are Doug Racine, Dubie, the Snelling's, Susan Sweetser (who I fully supported in '96)and Dean.

I would rather have Shumlin as Governor lite. He has crapload of experience. Pollina better not be running again for state-wide office, he has already screwed up this election, and almost screwed up 2000.

I also want to point out that Racine didn't make a farewell address. He will be back. But I agree with Capt. America- he won't be back next election cycle. Look for him to run for the US Senate. I think that if Pollina doesn't run for Lt. Governor again (better not) then Shumlin will run and proubly throttle Dubie. One on One with Dubie, would be the end of Dubie's carreer. I think Clavelle may run for Governor, and it is soooo obvious that Welch wants to be Governor. I don't think I would vote for him though. He is wayyyyy to Liberal, as liberal as Racine.

But if Bernie runs, look for Clavelle to join the ticket as a running mate....
