I think Governor Douglas is going to do a fine job. He won't cater to the right wing or the left wing. We are going to have the Pownal Race Track up and running right away, and with talk yesterday and today about cutting VOSHA, I think the Governor intends to adhere to frugal fiscal patterns. But why wouldn't he, with all those years under his belt of handling the treasury. I don't think he will be easily swayed by anyone, although I think he will listen to all Vermonters. We couldn't ask for more. Let's just continue hoping for the best.
