Ha, I remember the 1998 Republican primary between Jack McMullen and Fred Tuttle. What a joke that was. Believe me, my vote was not wasted. I voted for Jack, because I think he had a better chance then Tuttle did. Fred cracked me up though. What a great guy. I didn't vote for him though, I voted for Leahy in that race when McMullen didn't win. Just goes to show you about the Vermont people not liking outsiders coming in and taking our Senate seats. He would of given Leahy a tougher time then Tuttle did. I think it was 71% or something like that.

Yea I hope Vallee and Freed will run, so they can get the boot. I am a Republican, but those two are bad. Really bad. They want money and power. I just have the worse feeling that Freed wants higher office and will most likely make a run for Governor or US Senate. He won't make it past Leahy. Leahy will bury him opponent. Besides, even though he is a Dem, Leahy has a lot of character and really fights for us. So in 2004, regardless of the opponent, I'm voting for Pat Leahy.
