Author: More about guns;perhaps we can find some common ground?
Subject: Jane Hamilton

So should a person who is convicted of murder, served time and been released also have the right to bear arms? How about the convicted wife beater? The convicted rapist? How about someone with severe mental illness who is prone to violence?

A nuclear missile is an arm. If the right to bear arms is not to be infringed, anyone should be able to own a nuke ... or a tank ... or a grenade ... or napalm ... or an AK47, M16 ...

My point is that there needs to be a balance. I'll bet that there is some common ground among us on this issue.
