Subject: One More Thing; Jane Concerning The Second Amendment



I have worked for the Republican Party for most of my life. I became interested in politics in the early 1960's. During the presidential campaign of 1984; I worked for the re-election of President Ronald Reagan.
My headquarters boss was a woman by the name of Shirley Whitney. She passed away several years ago. She was a Democrat activist up to 1969. Just because she and her husband belonged as members of the National Rifle Association back in 1969; she was blamed for the shooting and killing of the late United States Senator; Robert F. Kennedy. He was murdered by Sirhan B. Sirhan at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles; June 6, 1968. Ever since that date Democrats she knew, harrassed, hooted and made her resign from the Democrat Party because of her NRA membership. She left the Democrat Party because she was not allowed free espression within her party over this issue. She enjoined the GOP because of this issue. She was disenfranchised because of her political beliefs on the gun issue which was pro-Second Amendment. Her husband left the Democrat Party additionally because of the constant harrassment by liberals over this issue.
When you ignore the issues of the Democrats I illustrated that is pro-gun, this gives me the same indifferent, intolerant indication my late friend faced many years back.
