Don't be so defensive; okay? I do believe you are a gun owner. Still you seem to ignore the facts as I presented them. I can give you several more Democrats that are pro-gun including United States Senator Zell Miller (D)-Georgia.
The problem with the Democrat Party on this issue; they give a clear indication of a selected "litmus test" when it comes to this issue. In rural America; this does not play out very well by the indication of Al Gore being rejected in a landslide over this issue in these areas. Once again look at the political map indicating "red" states/counties and you will see where Gore failed in these areas.
