Subject: The Power Of The National Rifle Association

Gun rights and the right of self protection to a giant step forward due to the 2002 midterm election. Thanks to the NRA "Vote Freedom First" campaign, voters were registered and did vote to elect candiates friendly to the Second Amendment. This took teamwork, hard determination to fight the good fight and win at all cost at the polls!
According to the America's First Freedom magazine; 242 Congressional candiates, NRA endorsed; 231 won election to the House of Represenatives. Many of these were Republicans and Democrats who value Second Amendment rights. Three United States Senatorial candiates won seats in Missouri, Minnesota and Georgia who were backed by the National Rifle Association.
This gives the forces of freedom more input and power in 108th Congress. The anti-gun forces of Hillary Clinton, Charles Schumer, Jack Reed, Frank Lautenberg, Barbara Boxer, Teddy Kennedy, Dianne Feinstein and Jim Jeffords will
be countered by these freedom forces of Second Amendment rights.
Just remember, anti-gun liberals can only legislate from a bench of Judicial authority. Their agenda cannot be counted on as popular support amongst the voters in wide mainstream sections of this country. Electorially they cannot win their agenda within the heartland of this country.
The National Rifle Association is to be commended for the civic duty and the people it has to participate in the electorial process. The extremist forces against the Second Amendment took a political beating this past November, 2002 on election day!

Leland
