Where Are the Weapons of Mass Destruction?
Well I’m sure there are some who would agree with me and some who wouldn’t agree with me, but I’ll say that the Coalition, spearheaded by the USA, as kind of dropped the ball over this whole Iraq ordeal.
First, the United States didn’t hide the fact that Iraq was on the Us hit list seeing as how they where named as part of the “Axis of Evil”. But the United States needed to justify this war to the average American and to the world so they start to accuse Iraq of having weapons of mass destruction, but there was a large amount of resistance to this war coming from some very old allies, seems they wanted UN weapon inspectors to go in. But I’ve heard in the News that some of the supposed evidence to support Bush’s claim of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq was less then truthful. I think, although I’m just speculating here, that the American public as well as the world where mislead purposely.
Some how is it now in Iraq now that the evil of Saddam is been thwarted once and for all? There is somewhat of a civil war in that country which as already cost the lives of a great deal of Americans as well as many Iraq citizens. Will Iraq go on to be a beacon of democracy or will it just become another hotbed of anti-American hatred.
Now this next part is based only on my opinion, but are you telling me that Iraq’s oil fields, some of the largest in the world, never once factored into this decision to go to war with them. What if the U.S. “powers that be” wanted to purchase Iraqi oil without having to go through Saddam, much better if he is removed from the picture?
As are you going to tell me that Iraq is going to be a full democracy or do you think that the government that gets to run Iraq is going to be very friendly to American interests, you have to wonder how many rulers of nations are secretly in the pocket of the Americans.
And I love it when President Bush is on the television and speaking so passionately about protecting the world from weapons of mass destruction. Just to bad that America is the unchallenged king when it comes to weapons of mass destruction. They spent almost an entire century contributing to the problem of weapons of mass destruction proliferation, and I’m sure they have stuff we don’t even know about. For a nation so concerned about weapons of mass destruction they sure do have enough of their own. Just to bad we can’t send UN weapon inspectors into their country.
Now I’ve heard rumors about this and it sounds crazy, but when the United States invaded Panama, several soldiers from the Panama army reported that on the battlefield, some of their fellow soldiers exploded mysteriously. Rumor is that the United States posses advanced energy weapons. But this is only an unsubstantiated rumor for now.
That is my two cents.
