The huge, earth-colored alpha wandered his territory. The sun hung high in the clear, blue heavens. The birds of the cliffs sang their songs and flew up into the air.

The lands were quiet. Kalkator went to the highest peak of his territory, to overlook the world around him. He could see far into the desert to the Southeast, and the Forests of the North. The warm sun heated his fur.

Now, with winter approaching, the only warm place was directly in the sunlight. The air around him was cold.

THe Dragga sat there, thinking things over. His pack was still small. Painfully small since the Balkar had taken his first two members. Now there was only the one named Ayer. He was greatful for this wolf, at least. But he knew things would only get harder for Neutral wolves. Drekka had already shown them that....
