Mottled brown black and white, green eyes. Strong of limb, strong of mind and heart.

:Mental:

Thinks before his action, and can say a lot about life for his short years. Usually has a good out-look on life, and out-going.

:::

The overcast sky hung over the young wolf, making the shadows that hid him dissapear. The snow covered the Earth, like a quilt of white, heavy and thick. The sunset barely came through the gray clouds, now tinged with pink and red. A few rays of the sun somehow came through, leading the way to the Earth in golden light. But none of those rays caught hold of the wolf, squeezing his way through the underbrush.

His paws clung to the Earth with each step, as if clinging to life. Behind him were his footsteps, leading off into the snow into eternity. His emrald eyes gazed about him wonderingly, as he traveled, trying to catch a hint of food, another wolf, of any other life. His nostrils dialated, inhaling the smells of the trees, dead leaves, and most of all loneliness. His sturdy young body clambered over fallen trees and snowbanks, sometimes falling in, having to pull himself out again and again.

Once again, he fell into a snow drift, letting out a small whine as he climbed out. Over the rim of the snow, he saw vast barren plains looking dead, covered in snow, but inhaling deeply, he smelt life, not much, but enough to know that someone else had already claimed the land. Pricking his ears, the wolf climbed the rest of the way out of the snow drift, and stood staring out at the lands.

Shaking his head, he trotted swiftly out about ten yards before stopping and sitting. His thick mottled brown, black, and white fur rippled in the crisp breeze, as his emrald eyes searched for anything that could convince him to stay. His roving hed suddenly stopped, his nose pin-pointed on a small moving figure way out on the plain. Rolling his shoulders, he sat down in the snow to await the small figure, for maybe they owned this land.

His brain worked furiously, trying to figure out what would happen if they took him in, hopefully it wouldn't be like his old pack, when he was a pup. His had mom died at his birth, and out of her seven pups, he and his brother were the only ones to survive. As he grew up, the other wolves mostly ignored the two pups, except to once and awhile leave the a bit of food, or take them to the new home- except for one, there was one wolf, who took care of him and his brother, but he had been killed in a caribou hunt when he had been about three monthes. After that, it had been horrible. The two pups had starved, unless they had been lucky enough to find a dead animal, or catch enough bugs. Once they grew old enough to help though, the pups father no longer wanted them, and drove them off. The pups ran in different directions, and he had never seen his brother since. Hopefully the new pack would not be like that....

[> >->Ho there, wolf<-< -- Kaiami, 17:00:37 12/25/02 Wed

Quick paws danced lightly 'pon the frozen terra, each step as sure as the next. Her silken coat danced on the wind, each dull flame colored hair waving softly. Her heart beat the to the beat of the earth, the rythm of life. She watched the ground as she moved, relying on her ears and nose to tell her if something was around. Then suddenly, she could smell him. She lifted her bi-colored head and faced his direction, blinking her soft royal blue eyes. She spied him; he wasn't too far off.

She walked slowly now, her eyes never leaving his body. She made her body posture calm, and non threatening, hoping not to itimidate him, or provoke an attack. She came within a few yards of him, letting him see her, knowing it was rude to speak without being seen.

Greetings, wolf, I am Kaiami.

The female blinked slowly, and smiled as the wolf accepted her kindly. She stepped closer, feeling a little braver around him. She bowed.
