I have seen parents dictate what degree their children will receive in college, and what their career should be. That is totally unfair. Children do grow into adults with adult decisions to be made. I would hate to dictate a degree and career and have the adult child say to me, "I hate this career that you FORCED me into." How would you live with that guilt??
