Stood and stepped back as if she was suddenly kicked. Swallowed hard, left speechless by her daughter. Lowered her head sadly and turned to the wolf, struggling with her voice. Two... weeks... and... I will.... kill you.... if she is harmed.... Stood at her full height. Goodbye daughter... I... love you... Backed away, shaking and pale then turned and broke into a gallop, tears rushing down her face and into her mane.
