Subject: Yates Ladies

Darlaston Town 1
Yates Ladies 1
With a loss of 3 points last week Yates went out whole heartedly, playing away on a pitch with a big slopping edge. Both teams had chances in the first half but kept the score at 0-0 due to a solid back four, Bev Gardner, Fiona Barnes, Claire Hall and Nicky Hollingmode. Just before the half time whistle blew, Darlaston had the chance to go ahead with a penalty but Yates goalkeeper Alex Dockray made a perfect save keeping the score level.
Half Time Score 0-0.
Yates came out strong the second half with a lot of pressurising which led to Claire Hope playing the ball beautifully through for Jodie Gutteridge to place in the back of the net on the 58th minute. with the slope against them Yates held on well with Julie Jones and Julie Keys performing wellin the second half, but unfortunately Darlaston broke through the defence and managed to equalise. Both teams played well and had chances to win the game but a draw was a fair result.
Full time Score 1-1
