So Dragonfly felt she was Unforeseen Senses’ superior in magnitude and might? Make no mistake Unforeseen Senses was not svelte, but staunch and resilient, and with her horde of knowledge she favoured herself a wily quadruped. Unless of course you class Andalusians as miniscule; but then, Dragonfly probably would, having escaped the avalanche of punishing blows without anything more than a mild sting. Wow you must be some horse Dragonfly.

As Dragonfly’s fuselage bore down upon her own, as was heralded, Unforeseen Senses changed her stance dramatically, so Dragonfly’s target was abruptly altered. Instead of her vast spinal column getting lacerated, it was her flesh; and like a stain the damage impinging upon her otherwise imperforate form spread. But the probing throbs that reached her dorsal were so impuissant no memorandums of a cumbrance were registered. This was due to Unforeseen Senses’ short but abrasive elevation from the lithosphere, combined with a change of her body’s degree in angle. This meant that she countered Dragonfly’s attack with an upward thrust; not one as strong for gravity was on Dragonfly’s side hauling her down, but jarring due to the degree as which it was executed. That alone should dislodge Dragonfly, diminish the tenaciousness of her plinths like a twig distorted and weakened by a relentless and incessant squall encompassing it. It should also leave the opposing wench disorientated.

The feeble attempt to keep the affliction incognito did not irk Unforeseen Senses as much as it amused her. Oh how Dragonfly jested! There was one profound flaw that could be discerned within her nemesis’ ploy, and that was that she subjected herself to Unforeseen Senses’ hindquarters: mass upon mass of toned brawn. True Dragonfly had manhandled her, but this had not corrupted the usage of her rear socles as desired. Nor was the banshee perplexed regarding her opponent’s position in juxtaposition to her own; after so many years of warfare one get acquainted with how to affirm where one’s rival is by one simply sense: sound. Her sound receptive pinnacles arose like the masts of a ship, tracking her every move. This was what allowed her to meet the tempestuous thrust with an equally disparaging, precluding shoulder-impel. This deducted from the damage done, while assisting in absorbing it like a sponge, as her edifice shuddered from the vibrations sent skimming over her anatomy. Like a pebble spawning ripples that mar the perfect symmetry of a listless pool. A pulsating painful sensation was all Unforeseen Senses felt in the assailed region after that, but pain is only another form of energy. Therefore, focusing all her attention on converting it into fuel, the musketeer seemingly ensnared in a trance, helped her body douse the flames of pain that licked at her shoulder, numbing it.

How winsome the fatale looked, flitting about her prey while she allowed her adrenaline time to rejuvenate, cooing a discordant melody and jigging to a tune only she heard in her mind. She taunted her instrument, the one she would use to tear the shore asunder with, loitering just outside Dragonfly’s range. The satirizing grew monotonous though, and from this fact stemmed another rear, this time taking off on the opposite side she did last time. This time her asperous nadirs had their adjacent landing point as Dragonfly’s eye, which would also benefit Unforeseen Senses by perturbing Dragonfly’s cranium and give her what one must call the equine equivalent to a migraine. Following suit, the itinerary of her talons made it possible for her to amalgamate this combative move with pummelling the mandible. Judging by Unforeseen Senses’ prodigious ashen mass, the strikes were to have an abundance of power behind them too. Still keeping her attacks to a compressed time-scale - Unforeseen Senses adroitly pivoted upon her hindquarters - which remained anchored to the topography by her flints. Then her fores swiftly snaked forward to once again reach out in the hope of embracing the fated part, which turned out to be Dragonfly’s sacrum this time round. When encumbered with a hefty amount of bodily weight the sacrum, situated so idealistically inbetween both hind limbs, would not doubt leave her limbs immotile or at least lead to the inert misuse of them. The bestial enigma then sought to keep her weight distributed between just her apical tips, so as to make the pain more excruciating and trying; which would lead to the inevitable collapse of Dragonfly should she not rid herself of Unforeseen Senses. Having said that though, Unforeseen Senses intended to hang on for dear life. Then rallying all the vigour she had to spare at that time, she focused on one last moment of ever intensifying pressure, before dropping to all fours again and set about regaining her composure.
