The grey and black male slowly fades into the trees behind him. Once out of sight, he lopes at an easy pace until his sense of direction tells him he is on the side of the doe opposite of Lulenia. He comes closer and his eyes focus on the wobbly doe and the wolf beyond. He flicks his tail, telling her she could pounce. If the doe escaped, she would run right into his waiting jaws.
