He feels the wolf pulls the flesh from his fore and bellows loudly, no longer able to put weight on it. He is caught off gaurd from the rear attack; he had expected no more to come forth now. He leans forward on his good fore and kicks out with both back legs,and, though missing the wolf, he jarred her enough to shake her from his haunch. He faces Skyes and drops his head, antlers out, and charges Skyes. If this didn't work, nothing would. If this plan failed, he was doomed.
