Sleet moves on quietly, making a path for Diety to follow, but only if she wanted to. Diety. she murmurs softly, I'm going to describe what you do with the actual springing out and, maybe, chase after the prey, ok? Alright. So, you'll want to do this stalking for as long as you can. By then you should be quite close to thye target. You'll know when to stop stalking because the prey will start to get nervous, to think that something is there. When it looks like it will run at any moment is when you stop. She grins and explains one small tidbit.During the stalking phase, the prey will raise it's head to looka round. That's just something they do, so when they do that, just stop and wait for them to go back to what they were doing before stalking once more. She smiles, then continues with her first explanation.After you've stopped stalking, you crouch down low and try to summon all your strenth into your muscles. Then, when the moment is right (and you should be able to feel when it is!) you leap out of hiding and either 1)pounce on it, get your body on it's so it can't move anywhere or do anything to you, and bite it's neck until it breaks or 2)chase after the prey. When you chase after the prey, you'll have to think one step faster than the prey.You'll have to outsmart it. Later, I will explain what to do if hunting large prey. Smiling at Diety, Sleet starts to "melt" into the forest. Her voice still carries to Diety though. I'm going to watch you do the rest of this hunt alone. I want you to think of all I just said and try to apply it. If you desprately need help, I'll come forward, but for the most part, you're on your own. I'll come out when you're done. And with that, to all appearances, Sleet disappears.
