~while falling to the ground is unpleasant, onyx mascu springs to his paws, watching as the buck goes about its way. seeing the victory is his, the cranium is thrown and from within, a tenor note reverbs in the heavens, the black's scream of triumph. after the brief celebration, golden oculars find the three month old attacking the weak fawn. nares work briefly to find information on the young one. nervous about being in the same hunting grounds, yet the little one carried many different odors that it was plain she had traveled a great distance. the brujo cares very little that the pup goes after the fawn. the canis's attention is on the doe. padding to the dead deer, the charcoal masculine pauses briefly before diving into his kill. most of the flesh and organs are devoured within the hour before the black stops eating. licking the crimson from the nares, the banner slowly swings from side to side as he studies the carcass. there's a little meat left, but not much. he quickly gulps the rest down and casually pads off, leaving the doe there for the scavengers . . .~
