Subject: .xXx. outcast .xXx. / ...dangerous...

...a low howl echoes over the land, then fades into the night air. a black male appears, golden orbs glowing in the dim light. he cautiously takes a step forward, sniffing the wind to make sure their is no immediate danger around. finally satisfied that they were alone, he turns his head towards the bushes and barks twice. his small sister leaps out of the bushes, tongue lolling excitedly out of her mouth. she let out a soft bark, then smiled, white fangs gleaming in the light. he returns it, then springs foward, lithe muscles rippling under his dark coat. she lets out a yelp of excitement and follows, chasing him over the ground. suddenly, he whirls, trying to evade her. she was way ahead of him. as he turned, she sprang onto his large, muscualr back. he yelped in surprise, then twisted in mid-air. her grip was too loose and she fell off, landing in a soft grassy spot. he turned and plopped down next to her. she leaned against him and closed her eyes, feeling safe and secure. he smiled and licked the top of her head, then laid his head down next to her. he, however, did not close his eyes. instead, he kept his golden eyes trained for any danger and his ears pricked for any sound...
