femme of midnight hue lopes through the land unseen, sticking to the cloak of her namesake. Crystal blue orbs filled with hurt and sorrow saw nothing, her large form crashed through brush before it came to a halt at the top of a rise. orbs stared out to the heavens. crania tilted back and maw parted to challenge the gods, a challenge of defiance, a challenge of hate, but most of all this challenge held hurt. her closest friend,love and companion was gone, his silven form found malled, feathers strewn upon the earth. her wings and her eyes were gone, stolen from her. the call of her soul wavered into nothing as her form collapsed upon that rise. curled in a ball the shadow creature lapses into from sleep to wakefullness *is that a word?* neither caring if she were alive or dead.
