[is it a battle of posts now? lol]

the midnight cloaked pup smiled at her words, closing his orbs for a moment before flinging them open. he had almsot forgotten to be wary, for he was becoming more relaxed with each time they exchanged thoughts. he thought for a moment, unsure of what to say. there were no questions he had to awnser and no link to follow up on. while he brooded over his next witty reply his mind traveled to his home, the Alaskan Mountains. he had yet to have the training date with Ferdie and still needed to find why Haryon seemed to be playing twenty questions with him. he shook his head, bringing his thoughts back to the wolfess before him. he thought it strange his mind would wander to his home lands and the occupants in it. was it true he was becoming happy in his new home? he thought it would have been impossible for him with the death of his family, yet here he was, happy. he rose to his dark paws, his mind chiding himself for being happy while his family lay dead, for they were not happy. deep inside he knew that he should not place his life on their death, yet at the moment he was a foolish pup like he should be. one cannot always be wise all the time...can they?

i am sorry Silver Mist, but i must leave you. i...erm..something has come up. something that lays in my past. i did something wrong and now must go to ponder my misdoing in hopes of rigthing it. i hope to continue our conversation and match of wisdom, but at the moment i cannot. if you ever need to find me i reside at the Alaskan Mountains, a pack land im sure you know well. then again, i might find you.

with those last words the pup's icy orbs gleamed before he turned and fled, though his pace was nothing more then a swift walk. he padded in the direction he had appeared from, though that direction was not facing home. no, he could not return there just yet. first he must think.
