I'm not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glint on snow
Mine is darkness of the storm
Yet burns a fire that keeps me warm
I see tortured creatures cry
Hidden under blood red sky

Within the stinging sheets of rain
I stand by tortured spirits chained
When comes the deadly evening hush
I am the spirit called to rush
I am not hungry or alone
Hear me when the cold winds moan

Of quiet birds in circling flight
I am the heart of deathly night
By the light of hunter's moon
I take my leave of earthly tune
While against a mortal soul you strive
