Thanks for the message, Keith.
The southern part of the walk crosses Lingfield Wildlife Area, a community-run nature reserve. It is always open, and free, so why not have a restoring dawdle around it? There are directions here - http://lingfieldwa.members.beeb.net/directions.htm .
