In the summer of 2005, along with some friends at Oxted School, I will be joining an expedition to Thailand. The purpose of this trip is to trek into the remote areas of the country, away from the areas that are commonly visited by tourists. Although this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, it is certainly no holiday! An important part of the expedition is to visit small rural villages and communities. This will enable us to help these communities in their schools, in environmental projects and become immersed in their local culture. This trip will boost my confidence, leadership and team work skills, as well as make a valuable contribution to the indigenous people we will meet. Such an expedition does not come cheaply! An important part of the programme is the work I will have to do to raise the funds for this trip. I am willing to help you with some of your domestic chores in return for a small payment which will go towards the cost. Here are some ideas:  Baby sitting  Cleaning, vacuuming and dusting  Ironing  Car wash  Weeding the garden  Dog walking I am sure there are some other tedious chores you can think of!
