I am visiting Lingfield in early July and I want to try to find the location of where my Grandparents shop was located. The time was approximately between 1972-1975, the shop was located in the front/bottom of the house residence (detached, had a back garden with geese/ducks/chickens), it had a Post Office facility, fresh vegetables, newspapers for local customers (who would pick them up in the mornings on their way down the road to the train station), sweets and various other grocery items. Their last name was Nudds, Grandad was often called "Jack", my Grandmother was known as "Nell". The shop was about a 10 minute walk up from the train station... there was a pub a little way up the road on the same side of the street. I remember that the local constables name was Peter.
Can anyone please help me find the address/location of this place... it is a place of great sentiment to me and i want to visit this area when I travel over from the United States. Appreciate anyone who remembers anything that might help me
Best Regards
John Kent
