Lingfield Fire Station is trying to collect together as much historical information on our local fire stations and the volunteer crews that have manned them.
We would very much like to establish a permanent archive of photographs and other information and items that represent the Lingfield District Fire Brigade, we are particularly keen to gather information on the Second World War years and the local Auxiliary and National Fire Service crew members.

Anyone with any information can either deliver it in person to the current fire station in Saxbys Lane on a Monday evening (our weekly training night)or post it to; Lingfield Fire Station, 81 Saxbys Lane, Lingfield, Surrey RH7 6DP.

Photographs lent to us will be professionally copied and returned, any photographs or items donated will be cared for within our station archive.
