Subject: Play areas/clean up

Having seen the great new kids play area at St Piers last Sunday, it really puts the glass-littered vandalised area near Centenary fields to shame.
Is there any action planned for a new one? If so, who is responsible for it and can we help in any way. I did hear there was some money allocated last year but it wasn't spent(?)
If not, who is supposed to keep the current one clean. Is it council funded or does it rely on parents to pick up the shards of broken glass which always seem to be there?
