I,m posting this message as a request for help and also as a warning to be vigilant to every one else in our rural Community.

Last saturday night 27/05/06 my next door neighbours car was stolen from outside the front of her house in the early hours.

As i,m sure most people are aware Bakers lane is very quiet at the best of times and even quiter in the early hours of the morning. So i,m very very surprised they managed to take it at all.

The car was an old Maroon/Burgundy/Grey 4 wheel drive with black bull bars,i,m not sure of the make.
My neighbour was very attached to this car.

As if the loss of her car was'nt bad enough, she also had all the tools of her trade in that car as well.
These tools came in the shape of numerous CD's, excersize balls and other therepuatic equipment.

She is a therapist and works with elderley people helping them excersize and getting them motivated and interested in life again. She is also a hair dresser and had all her hair dressing equipment in the car as well.

This lady has been a very very good neighbour to me since i moved here from Sth London nearly two years ago,and made me feel very welcome from the moment i arrived in Lingfield. She has been a part of this Community for some time now, she's a nice lady with a good heart and has offered to help me out on numerous occassions.

So if any one knows, hears or see's anything related to this theft can they please let me know via a posting on here.I,m realistic and cynical enough(i,m an Old Kent Road boy after all)to realise that the car is now probably in bits in a breakers somewhere, but it would be nice if the lady could at least get her tools back,so she can start earning a living again.

I love living in Lingfield and do feel part of what is definitley i think a nice Community,so if any one could help,i would be very grateful.

And just for the record,i think the Lovley Lingfield.Com message board can be a very powerful tool for keeping Lingfield a nice community by sharing information with each other.

Thanks for reading my rather large posting.

Regards From Eddie
