I do not remember Nelson myself but I know that My Mum took me in my pram (aged about 3 - 1960?) to watch his funeral when they burned his caravan. I remember Loui and Bill as I lived just along the road at Shuffleshoes cottage (Ray lane).They ran a brakers yard. I do remember their dog - a lovely golden labrador but I think later they kept Alsations? You may remember my Mum, another Peggy (Bond) But this was in Common Road, not Station Road! Have I got the right family?
