I was born in Lingfield in 1950 (actually the Redhil Hospital). My parents, Margaret and Marshall HURST lived at 2, South View cottages. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers them (or me!) also I'd like to know about a Muriel Hales, who was my god mother, and may have come from the area (I'd guess she'd be about 70-80 years old now)
Also my father had a printing works in the town, can any one remember this?
They lived in Lingfield from the 1940's to about 1952.
