Subject: Horse racing, horsemanship etc.

I'm interested in knowing if a house on Town Hill named Oakleigh in the early 1900s is still extant.
Also, where would I find information about the horse racing etc which was thriving (I think) in the period 1880 through 1910. Primarily what awards were offered for horsemanship etc., and does anyone have lists of winners
from that time?
