I am the grandson of Benjamin Faulkner from Lingfield who emigrated to Canada aprox. 1908 and settled in Toronto. He married Margaret from London. He had a brother named Arthur who also settled in Toronto. They both returned to fight in the great war, my grandfather serving in the 3 Battalion Infantry 1914-1918
My father Reginald was born in 1919 in Toronto, Riverdale and lives in London Ontario. I was born in 1958 in London Ontario
My grandfather died in 1963. Arthur disapeared from Toronto sometime when my father was a child. Apparently went out for a newspaper and was never heard from again. My grandfather also had a sister named Kate who married Horace Wolfe and lived in Woking up untill the 50's
I am also wondering if there are any remaining family members in the area. I will be in London shortly and would like to travel to Lingfield to look around.
