yes its 3 weeks to be able to pick up each gem but not to use them, so you can collect all the gems over a 12 week period then use them all at once, remember if you go from spec to trained, it gives you all the xp back that you put into that skill so you will have to raise it back up to where you want it. hope that helps

Snow if your Aluvian you will only need one dagger gem, like Addiction said when you unspec dagger you get all the exp back from it so you get to choose weather you want to raise it back up again. With Fire i wanted to unspec lore untrain leadership and spec melee def, what i did was went and got the untrain leadership gem then 3 weeks later went and got the unspec lore gem then went and grabbed the spec melee def gem. I saved all the gems until i had all the ones i needed then used them all at once. I kept track of how much i had in my lore skill and put that exp back into lore so it was where i wanted it. Another example is i unspeced loyalty, now since i dont have a patron i didnt put the exp i got back from untraining it back into loyalty. Hence instead of having 220 base loyalty i have 53 base loyalty and it costs 10 exp to raise instead of millions.

As well, most people bring every herb when they go to the temples. All you need to do is bring hyssop and keep using the head until it asks you for the essence of "malar" when it asks you for it just hand the head the hyssop and bam your in =)If you need any more info let us know and i'm sure we can help.
