Subject: Help With Mage Template

Hey all, my friends xoxo and happymoe made mages, i have 2 mages made just wondering how they will be longterm, i have Teal'Q lv 33 Spec Mana Conv trained: Arcane Creature Healing Item Life War, and i have Big Chief lv 14 Spec Creature Life Magic Defense, i dont have anything trained but the regulars. i also have 13 skill credits cause i spec appraise item before they changed it to item tinkering. so i dont have War Spec on either, but i could delete and remake a battle mage if thats the best mage template, just wondering how these other ones will work out, i kinda like Big Chief thanks

If you have the patience for a BM its the best for PvsM. If you plan on PKing go with the grief OG mage. Mages now get a damage bonus for the higher there war skill so specing war is a great idea. Dont really need to spec critter since the only baddy that casts critter inept is the pyreal golem. If you go BM you wont need to yield anything anyways and since you have other characters with lvl VII's i'd say go for the BM since you can cast the critter buffs yourself with an alt toon. If you want a mage thats a jack of all trades try the life speced mage, you get all 5 schools and LP and melee if you want my lvl 75 with the skill credit quest. Rashimas a life spec only mage and at lvl 73 she still has problems casting war VII's with any inepts on her but has no problem with her life magic. HOpe this answers a few questions for you. =)

I kinda wish I had the Patience/friends =) for a BM, but I don't think I could make it all the way to 55 without critter as a mage , I'd prolly hang myself.

Then again if I restarted my mage again Draven'd kill me since we got him a bunch of level VII War spells.

I have a War/Critter Spec'd (mana C trained, life @ 16) mage right now, and he's pretty fun, he's diffrent, and thats important to me =) he does fairly well but he has no item till 35, I put him in an al 215+ hollow suit, and he does much better then I thought in cit, just have to be careful =)

I'd Agree with fire if you have the patience BM,
