I have just returned from a visit to my local Opel dealer (I live in Belgium), and he told me that the recent diesels no longer have the oil consumption problem - he told me they used to consume about 1 litre per 1000km and its now about 1 litre per 10000 km. Has anyone bought a recent diesel and can confirm this is true?
