Subject: Garden sheds and workshops

I need to build a new workshop/shed, because mine stood where our new extension has been built.

Whilst thinking about the design and layout of my shed I wondered what other people thought about the whole shed thing.

Men and sheds and women and sheds; do they differ? If one was shown a photograph of a shed what could one deduce about its owner?

I think that there ought to be a magazine dedicated to the shed.

Is this a purely British phenomenen or are there sheds in all areas of the world; not dumps for stuff but useful work/storage havens.

Now I want to build mine using straw bales. We'll see if I manage it once the weather improves.
