Billy. You use of language in this report leaves me, an average reader, unclear.

Are you confessing to have masterminded the 'heist' of a roll of cling film, as in "I had him thrown to the lions?" for example?

I only wonder because I believe I know a person, easily pursuaded, who might have been talked into something like that at one time, except that it involved stealing a million pounds in 3d bits. The robbery took over 18 months to complete using ladies shopping trolleys. Unfortunately, having completed the theft the police arrested the entire gang, my contact included, having been observing them, it transpired, from the very first moment.

Hastiness will always come a cropper.

Do clarify.
